Wyoming has 70 golf courses waiting for you to come play. The best golfing destination in Wyoming is Sheridan, the golf capitol. Sheridan is home to four championship courses, Powder Horn, Kendrick Golf Course, Sheridan Country Club and Buffalo Golf Club, all of which are located within 35 miles of each other. The courses are priced reasonably and each of them offers beautiful views from the mountains. Each of the courses are 18 holes and provide challenges and hazards unique to each course. The Powder Horn course is the newest, having opened in 2005 boasting a multi-million dollar club house.
The weather is best for a round of golf between early June until the end of September, but crowds are big at this time, so make sure you book your tee time in advance.

Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
